About the shop

Atelier is a small clothing shop. Most of what we carry is for women and for children, because that is what our customers come back for; there is a men's shelf too, and we hold it to the same standard rather than filling it out for the sake of it.

We buy a few pieces at a time from workshops we can call on the phone. It means the rack changes every few weeks and a size can disappear for good — so when something is gone, the site says so instead of taking your order and apologising a week later.

Ordering is deliberately plain. No account, no card, no forms to remember. You leave a phone number, we call to confirm the sizes and the address, and you pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives.
